Being humble of heart

But the humble of heart will inherit every promise and enjoy abundant peace. (Ps 37:11 TPT)

All of God's promises are yes and amen, they will truly come to pass. We have to be fully persuaded that the one who promised is faithful. There is a temptation in life to compare yourself to other people and measuring yourself against them and the end result is always frustration, jealousy, envy, anger etc.

We must come to a place were we understand that everyone's story is different, we are not all walking in the same lane. The goal is to stay in your own lane and not get side tracked by what you see happening in the next lane, focus on what is before you. You are not in competition with

anyone except yourself.

Humility is a heart issue!

The apostle Paul warns us in Romans 12:3 (TPT) paraphrased - he asks each one of us to rid ourselves of pride, not to create a false image of our importance. Instead we are told to evaluate our worth using our God-given faith as the standard of measurement.

Prayer point

Father in the name of Jesus, help us to be humble so that we can inherit every promise and enjoy abundant peace, we thank you for it. In Jesus name. Amen!
